The British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES) invites proposals for panels and roundtables, and papers for its 2023 annual conference. BASEES 2023 is being held from the 31st of March to the 2nd of April and will be hosted at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. The last conference welcomed over 400 delegates from over 30 countries around the world.
BASEES welcomes paper, panel and roundtable proposals in the following areas: Politics; History; Sociology and Geography; Film and Media, Languages and Linguistics; Literatures and Cultures; and Economics. The conference especially welcomes participation by postgraduate research students and early career scholars. .
