Geoff Barrall

British-born Geoff Barrall is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary, having completed several successful start ups including BlueArc and Drobo. As the creator of Connected Data Corporation, his vision has led to the world’s first private cloud solution that enables customers to privately and securely share and protect data - without the use of cloud storage or complicated NAS infrastructure. A true private cloud appliance, his new venture is set to change the way people and businesses collaborate and share data for the better, eliminating monthly costs for cloud services. Geoff is also a board member at Imation, Nexsan, Gridstore and Nevex and has served on the board of advisors for companies such as Data Domain, NeoPath, Octiga Bay and Pancetera. Dr. Barrall earned his PhD in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, UK.
