Chrissie Gale ( nee Slater )

Chrissie is a highly focused, articulate and driven businesswoman. As a self-starter, she holds a strong mix of multi-sector experience combined with a well-rounded and successful track record of sales, business development and people development. A multiple business owner starting out in manufacturing, she is now in event management. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce.

Her background is private sector business development and in 2003, she started her own business for which she gained NASA endorsement in 2006 and was invited to enter the NASA Spin-off Hall of Fame. She went on to create and develop the entire support infrastructure for a new business incubator unit at Park Lane College Leeds for which she was recognized as being selected as Yorkshire’s Woman Business Ambassador in 2007.
Chrissie was also responsible for raising the initial £150,000 start-up funding and finance in February 2009 to bring the nationally recognised School for Social Entrepreneurs to Yorkshire and the Humber.
She now runs Mooncas Ltd – an event management company which she started up in November 2014. Mooncas is putting Yorkshire firmly on the map for high quality, useful events such as Manufactured, Techtrade and Educated Yorkshire. Mooncas events bring in between 500 and 1,000 delegates.
