Ms Annette Busula

A PhD student working on microorganism mediated behaviour of malaria mosquitoes. I have good laboratory and field experience in infection of mosquitoes with the entomopathogenic fungi, B. bassiana and M. anisopliae, for control of malaria, and with Plasmodium. In my research work, microscopy, PCR and other laboratory techniques form part of my activities with experience in identification of mosquitoes. With the changing mosquito behaviour, I am optimistic in contributing my quota in the control of both malaria and other vector-borne diseases. I also have good teaching experince.
