I am vice president of Cloud Platform at CenturyLink, focused on the automation benefits of a global IT platform and how it enables innovation for our customer base. We offer a rich user experience that automates everything in our data centres around the world. CenturyLink's assets form one of the largest supercomputers in the world, and our customers benefit from that investment by only subscribing to the slice that meets their needs. In nearly 15 years of tech industry experience, I've had the opportunity to serve in many of the major divisions of an IT service provider, including global operations, customer service, software integration, strategic marketing, engineering and product management. I've crawled under floor tiles to run fibre, I've led late-night troubleshooting windows, I've launched successful products, I've trained engineers, I've collaborated with very smart people, I've built business cases, I've worked corporate acquisitions, and I've delivered keynote addresses. An engineering-trained MBA, my recent tech experience includes trips around the sun with business models at UUNET, Exodus Communications, Digital Island, Cable & Wireless, Qwest, FusePoint, Savvis and CenturyLink.”
