Jerry Rijnbeek

Jerry has been active in the world of ICT infrastructures for almost 20 years, the last 4,5 of these have been at the Nand Flash start-up Fusion-io, which is now a part of SanDisk. He started his career in the Dutch Armed Forces but quickly decided to pursue his passion for computers. He became a mainframe administrator/programmer and soon got promoted to Technical Manager for Disaster Recovery at the largest Dutch bank. In 2000 he moved from the customer to the vendor side as Principal Consultant at companies like ISIT, DataDomain and EMC. His expertise lies in the design of large ICT infrastructures and specifically in the area of enterprise storage and applications. In his role at SanDisk, he has been part of designing hundreds of high performance VDI and database infrastructures for customers throughout Europe.
