Andrew Hatton

Andrew heads up IT for Greenpeace UK, the Global Environmental Campaigning Organization. He originally studied History at Birkbeck College, London University but changed track to pursue a career in IT. He holds an MSc in Computer Science with the Open University. He is passionate about the role IT can play in enabling change, both within organizations and also globally and has spoken widely on this topic, including at Google I/O and the Cloud Computing Forum. He works very closely with his Global campaigning colleagues on a number of Green IT issues, including Cloud Computing, and toxics.
