Neil Townsend

Neil graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004, completing an intercalated degree in Equine Science in 2000. He spent time in mixed practice before joining the University of Liverpool as an intern in 2006. He subsequently joined the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh as a Resident in Equine Surgery. During his residency he attained the RCVS Certificate in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery and a Master of Science by research. He re-joined the PLEH as a lecturer in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery in January 2010 and became an ECVS Diplomate and European Specialist in Equine Surgery in 2012. He is enrolled for the RCVS Diploma in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery.
