Profile of William Muir
Taking up a position as a graduate Teaching Assistant in 1970, William graduate to Assistant Professor at Ohio State University in 1974, where he remained until 1982. He then progressed to Professor at the University before ten years as the Professor and Chair of the Veterinary Clinic Department from 1983 to 1993. Since 2013 William has worked as a private consultant, having been a Chief Medical Officer of a New York Medical Centre prior to that. Interests: William is interested in Clinical Pharmacology, all aspects of Anaesthesia and Pain Management, Critical Care with emphasis on fluid resuscitation and Critical Patient Monitoring.
