Safia Barakzai

After completing a Surgical Residency at Edinburgh University, Safia stayed on for 9 years as a lecturer then senior lecturer at Edinburgh until 2012. She left to join private practice and is now the surgeon at Chine House Equine Hospital, where she is a RCVS and ECVS specialist in equine surgery. Interests: Safia’s main interests include; URT diagnosis and surgery, dental and sinus surgery and the imaging of the equine head.
