In the global land supply chain network, the China Europe Express （CR Express）is an important part. It has connected over a hundred cities along the route from China through Central Asian countries to European countries, and has become an important public cooperation platform for connecting the Asia Europe supply chain. Over the past more than 10 years, CR Express has experienced a period of rapid growth in operating scale, expanding transportation coverage, and increasing freight categories. It have optimized the Asia Europe land transportation network, innovated the Asia Europe transportation logistics model, and created a new situation in the global supply chain by promoting the development of multimodal transport, the integration of international transport rules, and customs cooperation among countries along the route. This has helped promote the economic development of countries along the Asia Europe route, improved people's livelihoods and cooperation, and maintained the security and stability of the international supply chain. The development of CR Express also faces challenges, such as increasing geopolitical risks, further improvement of infrastructure, and coordination among multiple countries. It needs to achieve significant breakthroughs from quantitative to qualitative changes in in opening up multi-directional and safer new routes, improving efficiency, strengthening operational norms, upgrading and transforming and so on.
