The presentation will analyze the experience of writing a war diary for the Spanish newspaper La Voz de Galicia. For the first six months of the whole-scale invasion the author of the presentation created more about 200 hundred 500 word texts. The main goals goals of the project was to inform the Spanish readers about the situation i Ukraine and to establish some sort of spiritual tranquility by translating shock provoked by the war into a foreign language. The presentation will focus of strategies used by the author to draw the attention of Spanish-language audience and to make sufferings of the Ukrainians understandable in the situation of the double epistemic injustice and almost absence of the country in the mass cultural space of the Hispanic world.
