I will explore the disruption of cultural traditions through social behavior, religious practices, and cultural influences. Focusing on wine as a symbol of identity and intersection, the discussion examines its dual role as sacred and profane, from its ritual significance in Judaism and Christianity to its prohibition in Islam. Key concepts like collective memory, nationhood, and “zeitgeist” will frame the dialogue, revealing how wine shapes cultural practices and shared identities across history. Through these insights, my research highlights wine’s role in redefining traditions and fostering connections among cultural disruptions within diverse communities linked to Azerbaijan.
