Discussion

Colleagues from publisher Routledge, Taylor & Francis and journal Editors will share their advice for publishing in academic journals and books, including how to choose a journal, what Editors look for in a good submission, peer review, ethics and predatory publishing. We will also discuss how to work with reviewers and Editors, and how to write and submit a book proposal.
Following a presentation, there will be time for discussion and Q&A from the floor.

This session is primarily aimed at Early Career Researchers, but will be of interest to anybody looking to deepen their understanding of journal or book publishing or current issues in scholarly publishing.

[Not to be included within abstract text - Editors are subject to change, depending on scheduling/clashes and we’ll be able to confirm closer to the time. Madeleine Heming Markey – Portfolio Manager, Routledge Journals; Dorothea Schaefter – Editor, Routledge Books; Editors from journals such as Europe-Asia Studies, Journal of Baltic Studies, Slavonica and Religion, State and Society]
