The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) is not just a trend, but a significant influence on education and educators. AI, as a powerful tool, is widely utilized to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Its role in creating equitable and accessible learning environments in inclusive education is particularly noteworthy, as it requires adequate care, ethical considerations and attention.
The research examines the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize inclusive education. It will delve into how AI can be leveraged to create more equitable and accessible learning environments for all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. Key topics to be covered include: AI-powered assistive technologies (examining the role of AI in developing personalized tools and resources to support students with disabilities); adaptive learning platforms (discussing how AI can tailor educational content to individual student needs, promoting engagement and personalized learning experiences); bias mitigation in AI (addressing the importance of ensuring AI algorithms are fair and unbiased to avoid perpetuating existing inequalities); ethical considerations (exploring the ethical implications of AI in education, including issues of privacy, data security, and accountability). Finally, policy recommendations will be given on proposing a framework for education policymakers to effectively integrate AI into inclusive educational practices.
By understanding AI's potential benefits and challenges in inclusive education, policymakers can develop strategies to harness this technology to create more equitable and accessible learning environments for all students.
