Amidst a century of accelerated change and a new era of global turbulence, the Eurasian region faces mounting challenges, including the gradual disintegration of the old order, geopolitical tensions, obstacles to sustainable development, and an increasing fragmentation of regional cooperation mechanisms. Through a range of institutional arrangements and projects, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has fostered exchange and collaboration among Eurasian countries, bolstered the resilience of sustainable development efforts, and enhanced the coordination of regional cooperation frameworks—serving as a critical force in addressing these challenges. Looking forward, under the guiding principles of the "Shanghai Spirit," the SCO will play a key role in shaping a new order in Eurasia. It will advance openness and inclusiveness, establish platforms for diverse stakeholders to engage in Eurasian governance, and actively support the creation of a shared community of destiny for the region.
