This round table discussion will delve into the narrative-shaping power of social media in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Participants will explore how state and non-state actors harness social media platforms to influence public opinion, disseminate propaganda, and mobilize support. Through case studies of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, we will examine the techniques used to spread disinformation and the impact on global security and public discourse. The discussion will also address the need for countermeasures, such as media literacy programs and cybersecurity enhancements, to combat digital propaganda.
