This article explores how feminist ideas from American pop culture influence university students’ perceptions in the Republic of Georgia. As American pop culture continues to gain influence, it becomes crucial to understand its impact on shaping attitudes towards feminism in socio-cultural contexts like Georgia. The study uses an approach through a survey to assess university students’ understanding and opinions on feminist ideologies. It also aims to examine how feminist discourses are transmitted and interpreted within culture through pop culture. By analyzing the survey data, the study seeks to provide insights into whether American pop culture helps or hinders the progress of conversations among young Georgians. The findings of this research could be valuable for activists, educators, and policymakers striving towards gender equality promotion and fostering discussions on feminism in Georgia and similar cultural settings. Ultimately, this examination contributes to the debate on the impact of American pop culture and its implications for advocating feminism in diverse cultural landscapes.
