Discussion

The beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, diametrically divided Russian society, including creative people: writers, poets, musicians, comedians, artists. In fact, state censorship banned anti-war statements, and cultural figures opposed to military aggression lost the opportunity to speak out and were forced to leave. In this study, the author will attempt to analyze anti-war songs (by Yuri Shevchuk, Zemfira, Angel and others) from the point of view of their pacifist agenda, motive complex, as well as allegories, the use of which is dictated not by censorship as such, but by the need to create a cultural code for secession "ours" from "other".
