Discussion
The Ukrainian Diaspora communities have contributed substantially, both financially and intellectually to the development of civil society in Ukraine since independence in 1991. Each period of revolution 2004, 2013-2014 and the full-scale invasion of Russia in 2022, the Diaspora (increasingly made up of Ukrainians who left, and even were born after independence) community became more and more relevant and vocal for international/ logistical/ and technical support for Ukraine. This paper will study the mechanisms involved, evaluate their effectiveness and suggest improvements/ adaptations going forward.
