Discussion

Russia's large-scale military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 initiated a new stage in the war that Moscow has been waging in that country since 2014 and has been the catalyst for re-evaluations of Russia and its place in the world. In this roundtable, scholars of Russian foreign and security policy discuss the lessons they are drawing from this war, focussing on how we as researchers are reassessing the methodological and conceptual tools that we use for studying Russia and its relations with other actors in the international community.
