The research question of this paper is how was developed the reform in the education system in Albania in the period between two World Wars and the attitude of the Greek government toward the schools of the Albanian Cam minority. This paper aim to analyze the problems that Albanian government was facing in the education system and how this reflected the relation with minorities located in the Albanian territory.

One of the biggest problems of independent Albania was the creation of a state school system, unified, public and effective in operation. It was a complicated matter as such a system had never existed before. There were different schools in the country frequented by Albanians in relation to their religious faith. It was not only money and infrastructure that was missing, but initially also pedagogical staff with the right qualities. Among the most radical measures taken by Albanian politics in school reform was the closing of private schools in the summer of 1922. Immediately, the Greek Orthodox community in the south protested next to the League of Nations by sending requests and complaints to resolve the situation.
