Discussion
The paper aims to analyse Ludvík Kundera's novel „Leaving“ and demonstrate the connections between the said experimental novel and both the narrative discourse of the contemporary Czech prose and the film production of Czechoslovakian „New Wave“. The article concentrates on the temporal composition of the prose and a consequent movement towards more personal (even intimate) topics. That movement is than contextualized concentrating on the "poetics" of the 1960s.
