This paper investigates the particularities of Siberian ironic and conceptual art from the 1980s through to 2020, focusing on two examples from Novosibirsk: the members of the art group 'Sinie Nosy' and Artyom Loskutov's (Contemporary Art Terrorism) 'Monstratsia' events. It examines common threads between the work of these groups and considers the role of Novosibirsk, Siberian punk and 'sibirskost'' in their personal and artistic outlooks.
