The research question of this paper aims to answer the question of how effectively it was addressed the issue of minorities in the Greek-Albanian relationship, in the Versailles Peace Conference and what were the legal mechanisms used to address the issue. The international level of protection of minorities was realized by this conference, not only because the issue was put on the agenda but also because here were signed the first treaties or agreements of minorities which laid the foundations of their protection and created the legal framework on which the international order for the protection of minorities was based. The methodology used is analytical as it considers historical events, diplomatic relations between states and further legal mechanisms in addressing minority issues at the Versailles Peace Conference, further comparative one after comparing the period of the First World War and it after the First World War focused on 1919 where the Versailles Peace Conference came to life, how to understand the functioning of the legal mechanism, if the latter functioned effectively before the end of the First World War, or they were born as an urgent need of the situation created with the end of the First World War where geopolitical changes were inevitably associated with economic, social and legal ones.
