Abstract

The Q-POCTM device is a simple to use, multiplexing molecular diagnostics device that is simple to use, true sample to answer in <30 mins and portable (battery operated, dust management and operates at a wide range of ambient temperatures). The device and its test disposables have been scaled through manufacture during the pandemic and recently launched with a highly accurate SARS-CoV-2 test, using standard PCR chemistries and QuantuMDx’s patented rapid thermal cycling technology. Future applications will utilise the device’s multiplexing capabilities for syndromic panels, antimicrobial resistance mutation panels and other mutation panels.
