Objective

Working on the micro-scale offers unique benefits such as drastically increased throughput (processing up to a million samples an hour), the possibility of performing assays on the single-cell level and very low sample consumption, enabling the use of patient material. I will give an overview how these conceptual advantages can be exploited in antibody discovery, personalized medicine and high-throughput genetic assays.
