Objective

Single cell genomics enables a completely new perspective on the cellular genomics of living systems. Many technologies and platforms have recently emerged which allow parallel analysis of multiple sequencing based (or multi-omic) readouts from the same single cell. In this talk, I will discuss the development and application of one such method, termed G&T-seq, which enables parallel analysis of the genome and transcriptome of a single cell. I will also discuss recent extensions to the method, which include epigenomic analysis in parallel with transcriptome sequencing, and how these technologies can be applied to studies of developmental and disease biology.
