Profile of Ms Ellen Rumley
Ellen Rumley is an NSF graduate fellow and visiting PhD student from University of Colorado Boulder, working in the Robotic Materials department in the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart. Ellen's work focuses on investigating and optimizing materials comprising electrohydraulic soft actuators for powering the lifelike movement of robots and wearable devices. She earned her masters in mechanical engineering through the University of Colorado Boulder, and her bachelors in physics from Willamette University."
