Profile of Miss Elaine Duncan
Elaine Duncan has been an assay development and HTS scientist in the Early Discovery team at Charles River for over 3 years. In this time she has worked on a variety of projects across several target types and assay formats, most recently working with high-throughput automated patch clamp as part of the ion channel group. She is interested in novel technologies which can improve attrition rates in the drug discovery industry, and is currently studying for a PhD in Biomedical Engineering as part of the LifETIME CDT at the University of Glasgow. Elaine is also passionate about science communication and is a dedicated STEM Ambassador.
