Profile of Ms Elaine Duncan
Elaine Duncan is a PhD student working in the Centre for Translational Pharmacology at the University of Glasgow under the primary supervision of Dr Brian Hudson. She is also part of the 2021 LifETIME Centre for Doctoral Training cohort. In her research, she aims to bioengineer a novel 3D organoid model of Type 2 Diabetes which could be used for drug screening purposes. Prior to her PhD, Elaine worked as an assay development and HTS scientist in the Early Discovery division of Charles River Laboratories. She completed her undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences (Genetics) at the University of Cambridge in 2018.
