Profile of Dr Elisa Kriza
Elisa Kriza is a cultural historian and comparatist specialized in the study of nationalism, anti-communism, and communism in literature. She is the author of two monographs, among them the book "Alexander Solzhenitsyn: Cold War Icon, Gulag Author, Russian Nationalist?" (2014). Her critical assessment of Alexander Solzhenitsyn has also been published in the form of peer-reviewed articles and commissioned reviews for "German Life and Letters" (2020), "Jahrbuch für Antisemitismusforschung" (2016), "Slavic Review" (2019 & 2021), and dekoder.org (2015). Her research on Solzhenitsyn has been featured in the media in the UK, Germany, and Spain.
