Profile of Mr Stepan Blinder
Mr Stepan Blinder is a PhD Candidate in Slavonic Studies at the University of Cambridge (Fitzwilliam College | United Kingdom). He received his Bachelor's (2016) and Master's (2018) of Arts degrees in History at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine). From 2018 to 2019, Stepan served as the Research Fellow at the University of Warsaw (Warsaw, Poland) specializing in early modern Eastern European urban history.
In 2019-2021, Stepan taught the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to undergraduate students at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Kyiv, Ukraine). Since September 2022, he is the Teacher Assistant of the Slavonic Section of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics supervising undergraduate students in premodern Eastern European history.
His most recent conference paper "Commune bibliotheca tam professorum, quam studiosorum? Interconnecting Library Visits in the Early Modern Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth" was presented on the ASEEES Annual Convention in Chicago on the 14th of October 2022.
