Steven Trim

Steve Trim initiated his career with 10 years pharmaceutical drug discovery at Pfizer UK with the majority of those in pain and neuroscience. During this time he became aware of the utility of venoms and toxins as tools for ion channels. However at this time there were very few opportunities for labs to purchase venoms for research. SO after redundancy Steve founded Venomtech in March 2010 to solve this problem through production and supply of a ready to use screening array based on venom fractions. Now as the Chief Scientific Officer Steve leads the science of Venomtech to target these proteins to solving drug discovery problems such as hitting difficult targets, including ion channels.
