Profile of Alexander L. Wolf
Alexander L. Wolf, Professor is a Professor in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. Prior to this he was the Charles Victor Schelke Chair in the College of Engineering and Applied Science and Professor of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Previously, he was a Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
Prof. Wolf's interests span the areas of distributed systems,
networking, and software engineering. His achievements include seminal work in software architecture, business analytics, and
information-centric networks. He is currently involved in projects
having to do with cloud computing, data-centre networking, and
service-based systems hosted on MANETs. He is the Coordinator of the EC FP7 HARNESS project.
Prof. Wolf serves as Vice President of the ACM, the largest
international professional society in computing, having well over
100,000 members. He is a Fellow of the ACM, IEEE, and BCS.
