Greg Goelz

Greg Goelz is an accomplished IT executive with 25 years of experience building and managing successful storage technology organizations. Prior to CloudByte, Goelz was general manager of the Enterprise Storage Solutions (ESS) business unit at SanDisk Corporation. He joined SanDisk via the Pliant Technology acquisition and was instrumental in the sale and successful integration of Pliant’s enterprise solid state technology. In addition, while at SanDisk, he also led the acquisition and integration of FlashSoft and Schooner Information Technology into ESS. As one of the first executives at Pliant Technology, he was in charge of the company’s marketing efforts and was responsible for product definition, strategic partnerships, securing key customers, corporate communications, fundraising, and fostering board of director relations.
