Amar Rathore

Amar serves as the Head of UK and Ireland operations at SMS Passcode. Amar is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully founded and grown a number of technology lead businesses through his 20 odd years in information technology and corporate security markets. Amar joined SMS Passcode in 2013 following his successful 8 years at the leading Intrusion Prevention Security vendor, CounterSnipe where he was responsible for International Sales and Marketing. Previously Amar launched and grew Foundstone (Now part of McAfee) in EMEA. Amar’s strength lies in understanding the latest in technological developments and help integrating these into corporate infrastructures. Formerly, Amar founded Rx3 Group comprising a network software reseller and a b2b mobile services provider, in EMEA. Rx3 grew to a turnover of $20M in EMEA within 3 years of inception and was eventually sold in a private sale to a large US software vendor. Prior to that Amar founded and was the Managing Director of a UK based Value Added Distributor e92plus. Amar grew e92plus to a multi million pound reseller through his 8 years at e92plus. Amar is a keen technologist and is active member of various international IT security and compliance groups. Additionally Amar has been a lead speaker at many industry conferences, training sessions, product updates, expos and private speaking opportunities. Amar holds a BSc in Electronic Engineering from University of Sussex and is Member of Institute of Directors.
