Joe Crawford

Joseph Crawford is executive director of strategic alliances. As a Verizon Enterprise Solutions marketing leader, he oversees global strategy and execution of key distribution and commercial partner alliances. Crawford's team optimizes client business outcomes by combining Verizon's strategic portfolio with alliance partner assets. Previously, Crawford was executive director overseeing the enterprise IT solutions product portfolio for Verizon. Having joined Verizon through the acquisition of MCI, Crawford led design and development of a broad portfolio including cloud and cloud-based services, hosting, colocation, remote application management, data center outsourcing and help desk solutions. Before that, Crawford was assistant vice president of engineering for MCI, now part of Verizon, where he was responsible for establishing a roadmap and the global delivery of strategic IT services and enterprise applications. Crawford also directed the design, development and testing of IT products, business solutions and enterprise architecture, including the creation of operational policy and procedures, used across the IT Solutions product line. Previously, Crawford founded the IT engineering organization at Digex, also now part of Verizon. He led a service delivery organization responsible for the delivery of IT Services to Managed Hosting customers. Crawford holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and has advanced training from Harvard Business School Executive Education, University of Michigan Business School Executive Education and the Center for Creative Leadership.
