Tryggvi Lárusson

Tryggvi is an expert in the architecture of enterprise web applications, specializing in storage and network systems for both hardware and virtualized environments. At GreenQloud, he is focused on capitalizing on technologies that enable the convergence of cloud application development and systems operations. Prior to founding GreenQloud, Tryggvi was the Co-founder, Chief Technical Officer and Chairman of Idega Software, which focused on building self-service Web applications for the European eGovernment market. Tryggvi regularly speaks at major IT events and hackathons on the subject of the development of cloud infrastructure and the importance of utilizing greener IT initiatives. Tryggvi studied Software Engineering of Distributed Systems at the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) and holds a Bachelor degree in science for Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Iceland (Reykjavik, Iceland).
