David Bernstein

David Bernstein is Managing Director of Cloud Strategy Partners in Silicon Valley, California, serving clients in Cloud Computing related Communications, Networking, and Security areas. Clients include start-ups, global telecoms, venture capital, large enterprise, and projects for the US Government and the European Commission. David has held executive positions Cisco, AT&T, Siebel Systems, Chordiant, Pluris, Intertrust, and Santa Cruz Operation. David is Chairman and Founder of the IEEE Global Intercloud Testbed and of the IEEE P2302 Standard for Intercloud Interoperability and Federation. He has been a key contributor to many industry standards including OpenSOA.org, OASIS SCA, WS-I, JCP/J2EE, and IEEE POSIX. David holds nearly a dozen patents in software and communications, and publishes academic papers regularly in IEEE journals. David holds Highest Honors degrees in Physics and Mathematics from University of California where he was awarded the UC Regents Scholar designation for his Office of Naval Research work.
