Davy Nys

Davy Nys is an enterprise software executive with more than a decade of experience working for and leading sales, consulting and technical teams across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region at IBM, iteevision (now part of Versatel) and Datawatch. Davy joined Pentaho in 2007 as a sales representative and after some early successes, grew the European business to account for more than 30 percent of Pentaho's overall revenue and cover the UK, Benelux, Germany, Spain and more recently, France and Italy. Davy is an expert on Big Data Analytics. As of July 2011, Davy leads Pentaho's Direct and OEM Sales efforts in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. He has closed deals and manages relationships with Pentaho's largest EMEA projects at organisations like Specsavers, the NHS and several European banks. Outside work Davy brings his competitiveness to the basketball court and plays in a Belgian league.
