Mr Julian Box

Julian co-founded Calligo in January 2012 and is the company's CEO. He is responsible for delivering Calligo's vision of building the most secure and advanced cloud based services within offshore jurisdictions globally, developing Calligo's approach to security, as well as data privacy and protection. He has over 25 years of experience helping organisations streamline operations through innovative application of technology, including nearly a decade of delivering dynamic and agile virtualisation and cloud solutions. He has played key roles in start-up companies and prior to Calligo was Managing Director of VirtualizeIT Limited, a reputable provider of virtualisation technology, including server, storage, and network virtualisation. In 2008, Julian co-founded Virtustream Inc., a venture capital backed Enterprise Cloud Service provider where, as CTO, he lead the design and implementation of their industry leading private multi-tenanted Infrastructure as a Services offering. Julian is an advocate for developing a digital community in Jersey through education and is Trustee and Chair of the Education and Skills Technical Advisory Group for Digital Jersey, an independent body representation Jersey's digital industries. He also regularly speaks at industry events including Cloud Expo Europe, Powering the Cloud and Demystifying the Cloud Conference.
