Objective

The drug discovery industry is increasingly fragmented into a wide range of small companies, academic translational centres, contract organisations and a few large Pharma. Medicines Discovery Catapult has been created to help knit together disparate areas of expertise, and support the growth of innovation-based organisaitons. We do this by providing access to information, technologies, expertise, and networks. Investing in state-of-the-art research facilities and establishing informatics platforms, we help eliminate blockers in the pipeline for innovative stechnologies and new medicines. Our focus on building mature and ambitious collaborations, and our not-for-profit status, enable us to act as an honest broker for resources, and a source of expertise for partners to work with.
