NEW: World Organoid Research Day 2023
3D Organoid Research has come along way from early beginnings with epithelial cells in 1987, ESCs in 2008 and ASCs in 2009. To celebrate these wonderful achievements and the wonderful work since, we propose the first annual #World Organoid Research Day (WORD 2023).
WORD 2023 is a free to attend, inclusive, open celebration of the latest 3D organoid research from around the globe! Share thoughts, ideas and hear from leading researchers. All talks will be online with some regional in person open events hosted by industry partners where possible.
The day's global speakers include:
Professor Hans Clevers (Roche, Switzerland), Dr Vivian Li (CRICK, U.K), Dr Shafagh Waters (UNSW, Australia), Dr Marta Alves da Silva (i3S, Portugal), Dr Christopher Stewart (Univ. Newcastle U.K), Professor Anca M. Pasca (Stanford USM, USA), Dr Elad Katz (Univ. Dundee, U.K), Dr James Evans (PhenoVista, San Diego, USA), Professor Hugo Vankelecom (KU Leuven, Netherlands), Dr David Smith (Moredun R.I, U.K) and many more.
